Worked great, installed it in my mini lathe and it works perfectly. Good brightness for the low current drain (about 20ma). I was able to use a tiny encapsulated 120VAC to 12V power supply rated 160ma and it's coasting!
I used this on a commercial chipper and really didn't think it would hold up to the vibration. It works great
Easy to hook up. I used it on my drill press. I did not need to glue the magnet on, it’s pretty strong and stays where you put it, even at 3500 RPM.
Good simple tach. I 3D printed a mounting bracket for the sensor and epoxied the magnet in place and haven’t had any issues. I power mine from a 12vdc converter installed in my VFD enclosure, which I would highly recommend over battery power.
